{chicago} on the shore of lake michigan

It’s Lake Michigan! I’ve only ever seen Lake Michigan one other time, when I was in Chicago a couple of years ago, but that was a long time ago. Even though I went to school in Michigan, because MSU is smack in them middle of the state not near any of the lakes in particular, I never got to see any of them except when I drove to Michigan once and saw Lake Erie.

The Great Lakes are awesome though not only because they’re full of fresh water, but because they’re huge and it seems like you’re staring out into the ocean rather than just a really big lake. I really appreciate how the lake front in Chicago is all parks and beach, too, which makes it so anybody can really enjoy and appreciate all that the lakes have to offer right next to the big city!
