[inspiration] turtles

One of my sisters absolutely loves turtles. I don’t remember why she started collecting turtles, but it really fits her personality: it takes her forever to get things done, mainly because she is meticulous, but still! I once babysat a turtle for a friend, but then it died on my watch, which makes me rather weary when it comes to turtles. One of the schools I’ve taught at also used to have a huge desert tortoise living in the habitat, but then it disappeared … What a string of random turtle associations!
