{milwaukee} sandwiches @ the national

May 2, 2012

As we were heading out of Milwaukee (to go back to Chicago), we were really hungry, but had no idea where we could grab a quick bite to eat so we just Yelped it and found The National. Serving everything from Anodyne (local) coffee and pastries to breakfast and lunch, I am so glad we stopped at The National because the food was absolutely delicious. The house-made tortilla chips that came with either a hummus or black bean dip were awesome, and so were the sandwiches. Most of all, I loved the vibe of the whole place and the people who work there. They were so friendly and caring and even gave us free brownies and cookies because they originally brought us the wrong dipping sauce for our chips!

A delicious sandwhich-themed photo adventure:

Hey thanks for the pics made me hungry even though I had lunch. The pannini type sandwich really looks good. I would probably prefer the blackbean dip but with homemade chips you can’t go wrong either way.
