cool new developments

Along with more urban gathering places, Downtown Phoenix also seems to be in the midst of a push for more urban living. This means various new mixed-use complexes being built right along Roosevelt Street not far at all from where we’re currently living. This is good news not only for wanna-be urbanites (ha!) like us, but those associated with the Downtown ASU campus as well. What’s better than less empty lots and more taller buildings? Nothing much if your goal is a more centralized and more urbanized city. It’s a slow process since Phoenix is just so spread out, but I finally feel like we’re making progress again!
