{costa rica} tropical fruit

Hello readers!
This summer, I had the privilege of studying abroad and living with a host family for six weeks. Today begins a six-part series about my stay in the beautiful tropical country of Costa Rica.
One of the first things I notice anywhere I travel is, of course, the food. The fruit in this country definitely stands out. Due to the humidity and sunlight, warm temperatures and fertile soil, much of Costa Rica is perfect for growing fruits of all shapes, colors, and sizes. Take a look below. I am pretty sure I tried a completely new and different fruit at least once every few days for my entire stay there!
