{renai} sheep in heaven at cingjing farm

January 6, 2013

Imagine mountaintop views, Swiss gardens, sheep roaming free, market-style food, and mild temperatures. Welcome to Cingjing Veterans Farm in Central Taiwan. This place is absolutely breathtaking, seriously breathtaking. Cingjing Veterans Farm was actually the real reason we came to Central Taiwan on our 2-day adventure. To get to this farm you have to drive up and then down and then up again on windy mountain roads. Eventually though you’re in a beautiful valley with low hanging clouds and tree-covered mountains all around. It’s truly a beautiful sight. Of course, you’re not just paying to see the mountains. There’s also horse and clown shows. And the big draw is the daily sheep shearing show at 2 p.m. The best part is how free the sheep are allowed to roam so you’re literally walking right next to them. Mountain air just makes me want to jump!
