{san diego} chocolate bread = yum

March 17, 2013

I’ve ate chocolate bread before somewhere, but I can’t remember where or when. Anyhow, when I was in San Diego with a friend for an impromptu weekend, we decided to stop at Con Pane Rustic Breads & Cafe (at Liberty Station) before heading home. They are famous for their amazing breads and chocolate bread in particular. Since we were on our way back to Phoenix, we also decided to grab lunch. We got both the Turkey Cobb and Almost Grilled Cheese sandwiches and shared both. They were absolutely delicious!!! We also bought a bunch of bread rounds to take home: Rosemary Olive Oil, Sourdough, Chocolate, and Gruyere & Chive Bread. This place is amazing! I can’t wait to go back when I’m in San Diego again!
