{palm springs} village festival

Thursday night is Village Festival night in Palm Springs. They cornered off a few blocks so
merchants can set up shop right in the middle of downtown Palm Canyon Drive. You find the
usual food and crafts. There were a few unusual ones. You can custom order granite lazy Susan of any size you desire. The seashell and stone turtles gave me a crawly-skin kind of feeling (so 麻). There were these interesting mix fire-and-water contraptions. I am not sure what kind of living rooms they could be appropriate, maybe only for some public places or hotel lobbies. There was this large one set up for marshmallow toasting, which I haven’t done for quite a while. I like it when the outside is totally seared, with the inside melted away, leaving just the dark brown or black, burnt outer marshmallow shell. Decadently yum!
