{phx} el pacifico’s seafood

May 5, 2015

Do you like Mexican food? Well, if you do and we’re talking real authentic Mexican food, then Phoenix is filled with it. I mean, it makes sense considering the demographics of the area I live in particular. Recently, I’ve gotten a chance to try a few of these very authentic Mexican places that I really wouldn’t walk into without someone who knew what they were doing, not because I can’t speak the language, but I would just get looked at really funny.

Anyway, El Pacifico is known for its delicious seafood (even though we’re in the middle of the desert)! They have so many options it’s kind of crazy, actually. In the end, we all decided to share a couple of different dishes so we could try many different things including the Tostadas de camarón, Ceviche, and Mocajate de carne y mariscos. I thought the mocajate was pretty neat and something I had never tried before. Think of a stone bowl, Mexican style!

So many options

Chips & salsa, and horchata

Tostadas de camarón

Molcajete de carne y mariscos
