{phx} outside inside suites

June 16, 2015

Recently since school ended, I went on a short 1-night stay-cation with some friends from school. It was super fun because even though we didn’t leave Phoenix, we were able to pretend like we were on vacation. For this stay-cation, we stayed at the Embassy Suites Biltmore location, which is super fancy and nice especially considering the inside-outside-ness of it all. What I mean is that once you walk inside the building, it’s as though you’ve stepped foot into a tropical rainforest with tons and tons of plants and man-made ponds filled with Koi Fish. There are separate areas for the fish, some of the ponds are filled with clearly adult Koi who are just getting fatter and fatter, while other areas are filled with tiny babies. It’s such an awesome sight!
