{seattle} 1st starbucks ever

Located across from Pike Place Market is location that rival’s Pike Place’s degree of famousness: the very first Starbucks. Really, let’s be honest — this place isn’t that special, but people love it for the idea that this is where it all started. They like the fact that instead of the updated logo, this location still boasts the original crazy-looking mermaid. They also like the fact that it sells all kinds of touristy junk that people buy by the bagful, and I know this to be true because people staying at the same hostel as us came back with multiple Starbucks bags. My sister visited Starbuck’s Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room earlier this year.t
