{portland} fat head’s flight

September 5, 2015

My sister and I were only in Portland for one night so we really only had one main dinner to focus on. Since lunches were eaten at the pods of food carts, we figured we should try something different for dinner. My sister also recently found out that Portland (and San Diego) are big local brewery towns so we figured we would try a brewery. After walking down a few streets, we found Fat Head’s Brewery. This place looked a little more casual than some of the others we passed, so we figured that would also help keep the prices a little lower.

Since we were at a brewery, we decided on a flight (5 mini tumblers) of their local brews. Of the five that we tried, I thought the blueberry was the most delicious, especially since it came with a real blueberry! For dinner, we ordered two huge appetizers and shared. Both the Buffalo Calamari and Oh My Cod (fish & chips) were so delicious. The portions were also so huge we got to finish the leftovers for breakfast the next morning!
