{portland} saturday’s market

September 6, 2015

Right on the waterfront every weekend is the Portland Saturday Market. Even though it’s called the Saturday market, this large arts and crafts market is open every Sunday, too. Local artisans sell their unique products, but there’s more than just products to buy as there’s food and drink vendors, too. My sister and I were lucky that we happened to be in Portland on the weekend so that we would get a chance to visit this market and see some of the unique products and sample some of the delicious food. I thought the pocketbooks made from children’s books and the colorful photo coasters were the most interesting!

  1. I was there about 2 years ago and spent just a few days. Lots of musicians were performing on the streets when I was there. I really enjoyed my stay!
