{singapore} giant fountain of wealth

October 12, 2015

One of the things Singapore is known for is its amazing and abundant shopping malls. One of the larger is Suntec City. While wandering through the city one afternoon, I decided to walk through Suntec City to get from one destination to another just to avoid the sun and heat for a little while. It’s there that I happened upon the Fountain of Wealth. This giant fountain is listed by the Guinness Book of Records in 1998 as the largest fountain in the world. According to the pictures online, this place is lit up pretty magically at night complete with laser shows, so it’s too bad that I was here in the afternoon and not about to trek all the way out here again at night.

Nevertheless, there was still a line of people waiting to take pictures with this ginormous Fountain of Wealth (including me), which happens to have just turned 20 years old this year. It truly was quite the sight … seriously huge!
