{sf} wharf for the fishermen

December 19, 2015

If you head from the Ferry Building north and walk along the Embarcadero past Pier 39, you’ll eventually hit Fishermans Wharf. Fishermans Wharf is where all the tourists get their share of San Francisco seafood. The fried stuff (while horrible for you is quite delicious) is always cheaper than the shrimp or lobster rolls so I always end up just ordering some fried seafood with maybe a bread bowl of chowder. My favorite part of Fishermans Wharf, though, is definitely not the food. It’s seeing all the fishing boats that dock right here! Such a beautiful sight especially against the setting sun! Besides, it makes you really want to believe that the seafood you’re eating is that much fresher!
