{sf} castro’s hot cookie

December 26, 2015

I often ride the bus through Castro Valley (to get from Alamo Square/NOPA area) to Bernal Heights. The Castro is known for being welcoming to all types of people, the LBGTQ community in particular. Many of the boutiques and locally owned stores in the neighborhood also embrace this as part of the community identify. One such local establishment is Hot Cookie. I decided to stop and get off the bus here so that I could try one of their famously delicious cookies. I’m so glad I did because not only was the cookie giant, it was so warm and gooey inside, which just made my entire cookie experience amazing. What else would you expect from a place that calls itself “hot”, right?
