{sf} mission dolores park

January 9, 2016

Mission Dolores Park is known for its beautiful views. Located on the side of a hill, when you face northeast-ish, you can see San Francisco’s beautiful skyline. Seeing a view of this skyline was the exact reason I was recently dragged to this park. The view did turn out to be quite beautiful, though I’m guessing I’ll have to revisit in the spring or summer when the clouds are less abundant because the beautiful view just wasn’t as clear. On top of that, construction continues at the Park, which means the highest hillside is still closed off. I’ve been told that the view from higher up is ever better – well, I suppose that makes sense!

This park is more than just the view though, I love observing the old train tracks and various monuments. The best part of moving to a new city is getting to explore like a tourist and when I’m a tourist, I always take lots of pictures and take take lots of time to observe random monuments. Fun!
