{nashville} eats under the blue sky

March 14, 2016

I feel like Nashville as really become a hipster food kind of place. Brunch places are always packed on the weekends because there’s a lot of young people who now live in the city so demand is high, but the supply of hipster-y places like Sky Blue Cafe just hasn’t increased at the same rate. When you’re visiting a new city, of course you want to enjoy the food there, but waiting to be seated for a really long time kind of takes away from all the exploring time, which is not so good. The nice thing is that at least they had coffee outside for everyone to enjoy while waiting, even if it did run out very quickly. All in all, I would say that the food was pretty delicious – a pretty good brunch place if you have time on your hands. It’s weird sitting at community tables though since everyone is kind of crammed together, but at least the Trivia Pursuit cards on the table kept everyone fairly busy.
