{nashville} vegan sunflowers

March 19, 2016

If I were vegan, I would eat at Sunflower Cafe every time I ate out in Nashville. This place is amazing! I’m not sure what I was imagining exactly, but I didn’t expect to walk in and order at a Chipotle-style counter line. In any case, it worked out though because there were so many options to choose from (a good and bad thing) and so many different vegetarian/vegan options to go with! I got the veggie burger bowl, which turned out to be absolutely delicous. I was a particular fan of the kale and quinoa at the bottom of the bowl. Your burger bowl can also come with any of their topping styles: Traditional Sunflower, All American, Jalapeño, Arugula Bistro, Garlic Mushroom, Aloha, Báhn Mi, or Southern BBQ. I chose the Traditional Sunflower, which consisted of sundried tomato spread, red onions, field greens, and tomato & garlic aioli. Yum!
