{nashville} hotel called grand opry

March 22, 2016

It turns out that the Grand Ole Opry House isn’t the only that that’s Opry in Nashville. There’s the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, too. Since I happened to be in Nashville at the tail end of the holiday season, I was exciting to find out that all the holiday lights were still up, which meant a free lights adventure at the Opryland Hotel. It really was quite beautiful and incredibly extensive, which made me wonder more and more if all those lights stay up all year and they just turn them on during the holidays or if it’s an entire village’s job to put up and take down all those lights every year!?!?!?
