{slc} library adventures

June 9, 2016

Libraries are always interesting to me because often they are either housed in super old buildings or truly modern ones. Seattle and Phoenix both happen to have quite modern main library buildings as does Salt Lake City. I particularly like Salt Lake City’s main branch because it’s very nicely contrasted with City Hall across the street and reflected in the water features outside the building. The way the windows are set up inside also make it seem like you’re still outside once you’ve entered. One of my favorite parts was watching the machine that sorts the books into various bins to get put back on the shelves. Talk about neat!
