{slc} where onions are copper

June 21, 2016

While I thoroughly enjoyed myself for breakfast at Rye, I later had an amazing dinner at The Copper Onion. As hopping as this place was, I was quite surprised that we didn’t need to wait awhile for a table, thank goodness, since it was pouring outside. On Yelp, everyone raves about the Ricotta Dumplings so I knew walking in that for sure I was going to order those. We also got the Rainbow Trout and 3 sides to share: Roasted Mushroom Barley, Beets, Brussel Sprouts. The Ricotta Dumplings were as delicious and everyone says online though I was a bit surprised by how sweet they were. The trout was also good. Of the sides, I would say that the beets were my favorite, then the brussel sprouts and last of all the roasted mushroom barley, which was just bland. Overall, though, what a meal!
