{paso robles} wine tasting adventures

June 27, 2016

While in Paso Robles, we visited three different local wineries to get a taste of what they had to offer. First there was Cypher Winery then Peachy Canyon Winery and last Halter Ranch Vineyard. For Cypher blew the other two out of the water. We happened to be there on a day that the wine maker was in house. He also just so happened to be showing off his wines to some big time potential buyers so tons of bottles were getting uncorked and the wine was flowing. Even though we weren’t at all a part of this fancy group, enough special bottles were getting uncorked that we got a taste of the glory, too. We must have tried at least 10 different wines, besides, the bartender was super friendly and just awesome to chat with. What a fun time!

Cypher Winery: The pours just kept on coming!

Cypher Winery: Behind the bar decor

Cypher Winery: What’s better than egg on pizza?

Peachy Canyon Winery: Giant lawn chair, anyone?

Peachy Canyon Winery: I’m told they’ve really darkened their bottle labels.

Halter Ranch Vineyard: Sneaked in here right before closing.
