{penang} street paint

August 11, 2016

Along the streets of George Town, Penang, there’s more than just twisted wire art that teaches you about this amazing World Heritage Site (see some here and here). In fact, this city is all about the street art and there are also murals every which way you turn. Many of these are interactive and there are lines of tourists ready to take pictures with them. Some are more famous than others, like the kids riding the bike and the kids on the swing. Others are less famous, but just as fun to see. Many of the maps you can get while in town will point out where all these interactive murals are and it’s super fun to try and get to as many as you can! George Town was seriously one of my favorite places to visit in Malaysia!
