{mill valley} muir-ly the woods

October 10, 2016

One of my favorite spring/fall (and summer in San Francisco) activities is hiking. Recently, my family was in town and we went for a hike in the North Bay at Muir Woods National Monument. We were a little annoyed that it was going to cost $10 for each of us to get into the national monument, because that seemed a little outrageous even though we were going to get to see some beautiful Coastal Redwood trees. In the end, it only ended up costing $10 for all four of us because my dad found out that since he’s “old” now, he could get a lifetime National Parks pass for just $10 and he can bring in an entire car of people with each entrance! What a deal!! And what an even greater deal because we all got to see these beautiful and impressive Coastal Redwoods up close and personal.
