{kuala lumpur} the twins

October 15, 2016

Of course if you’re going to Malaysia you have to spend some time in the Kuala Lumpur, not only Malaysia’s capital city, but a huge metropolis, and home to the tallest twins in the world. Nope, I’m not talking about human twins though I guess I can’t say for sure they don’t live in Malaysia (but I highly doubt they do). I’m talking about the Petronas Twin Towers. In fact, these towers were the world’s tallest building from 1998 to 2004. There have been taller buildings built since 2004, but these lovely 88-floor skyscrapers remain the tallest twin towers in the world.

It’s possible to view the towers from the middle bridge viewing deck, but it just cost so much that I decided not to spend the money. I hear it’s also hard to see the city from all the way up there because it’s just so much higher than every other building in the area. In any case, it’s neat to get to be able to take selfies and even walk around the inside of the world’s tallest twins though, don’t you think?
