{harbin} space needle

October 19, 2016

Harbin has its own version of the space needle, called Dragon Tower.

As all space needles, there is an observation deck. Its model gives a better overall perspective of the entire tower.

As far as space needle is concern, it’s not especially noteworthy. Even in China, there are 6 other space needles taller.

Interesting that it points out, it is

  • 1500 km from the Tokyo Tower, to the East
  • 9400 km from the Eiffel Tower, to the West
  • 9400 km from the Sidney Tower, to the South
  • 12900 km from the Toronto Tower, to the North

We’ll give it a pass on the north direction claim. Harbin and Toronto actually have comparable latitudes.
