[room 209m] week thirteen circuits

November 17, 2016

The physical education teacher at my school used to work as a paraprofessional in a special education classroom so he is well-versed in how to work with my students. I really appreciate him and how he thinks about the activities to do with my students because he allows the activities to self-differentiate based on what the students are capable of doing. During many of our PE classes, he runs circuits, which are essentially the PE version of centers. I like this way of running PE because it allows my higher functioning students to participate in activities more independently while the lower functioning students can run the circuits with a para or a teacher. Take a look at some of the circuits we ran this week!
