{poznan} renaissance-style, day 2

December 18, 2016

The second day I was in Poznan, Poland, I ventured out a bit farther than just the Old Town Square. My day did start in the central area where I visited the Ratusz Poznanski Museum filled with tons of historical artifacts. This is one of few places I had to pay admission for (though it was not expensive), and I’m not sure it was entirely worth it because even though the place was just stuffed with stuff, there might have been a bit too much to truly appreciate it all in the space it occupied. In any case, then I had some time to walk along the old City Wall from Koziolki Poznanki Ratusz all the way to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help next to St. Mary’s, which was incredibly beautiful on the inside. So many of the churches in Poland were so incredibly ornate and beautiful. My day ended with time spent at Malta Lake, which turned out to be much farther away and much larger than I had originally thought!
