{tijuana} cultural center ceramics

Imagine looking up things to do in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and finding images of a giant ceramic-looking ball. Turns out this giant ceramic-looking ball is the Centro Cultural Tijuana. Essentially, it’s a collection of art and history exhibits that show off Tijuanan/Mexican culture. There are also other community events that happen inside this giant ceramic-looking ball like job fairs. I was disappointed to find out that the majority of the exhibits cost money (though not very much), but since we didn’t have that much time in Tijuana anyway, we opted to see the one free exhibit, a ceramics exhibit. This was mainly inside the main downstairs lobby area, but bled into the outdoor patio/garden area as well. I think the pieces outside that incorporated the nature around it and showcased some of the indigenous cultures in Mexico were my favorite.
