{maui} volcano crater hiking

August 1, 2017

When at Haleakala watching the sunrise, it seems like such a pity it leave right away so my mom and I decided to do a little bit of hiking there as well. The funny thing about hiking in a volcano is that you end up hiking down the crater first then having to climb back out, which means it seems like no big deal in he beginning. We decided to not that far down though since my mom is not exactly an avid hiker. Even still, it was quite beautiful, especially in he beginning when the clouds were rolling across the crater.
