{honolulu} art museum of the state

August 10, 2017

While exploring downtown Honolulu, my mom and I spent time time relaxing in the free cool air conditioning of the Hawaii State Art Museum. Of course, this place offers more than just air conditioning though, they have beautiful art that really exemplifies all of Hawaii. We didn’t walk through every exhibit since we didn’t have that much time in Honolulu and wanted to be able to hit as many neat spots as possible, but the art pieces we did encounter were quite neat. I especially loved seeing how water and other parts of nature were a big part of the art pieces. There was also a high school art competition on display when we were there, which was super awesome to get to see. Those kids are so talented!
