{scotland} dunkeld, the first stop

February 27, 2018

Heading north, our tour’s first stop outside of Edinburgh was Dunkeld, a small Scottish town. Here we mainly stopped for lunch and to use the facilities, but I thought this little place was quite charmer. I just loved the old cathedral that dominated a town’s “skyline” and just how quaint everything was. The shops and cafes were super cute. Even the whitewashed homes that lined all the curvy lanes were just perfect. The best part was when I was walking from the church toward the center of town and saw an older Scottish gentleman dressed to the T in tweed. It was perfect. The town even sits right on the shores of the River Tay. How romantically picturesque is that?!?
